Thank you for choosing Blue Echo Audio Video (also referred to as blueechoav.com) as your source for Consumer Electronics.  Below are our Store Policies and Procedures. Please review them before making your purchase.  If you’d like to learn more about us, please visit our “about us” page.

We’d like to make sure your experience here is always a great experience.  We do this by providing you with a complete and easy to use website.  We not only offer a great selection of products at a great price, but we offer a place to research before you buy, ask others about their opinion, and share your opinion with others. We won’t overwhelm you with 3rd party advertisements, or spam you with tons of emails.  We don’t pressure you to buy something you don’t want or need, and we won’t contact you after your purchase to try to sell you more.  We offer competitive prices and shipping fees, and all of our pricing is up front, with no hidden fees.

We update our inventory regularly and display when an item is out of stock.  All of our products are BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED items, unless clearly indicated (such as our Clearance Items).  We do not sell refurbished, used or second-hand, B-Stock, or Grey-Market items outside of our Clearance section. Products and Inventory Products and Inventory:

All of the products we sell are BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED items, with exception of items that are sold under our Clearance category.  Items sold as Clearance items will be very clearly marked as such, and are a great opportunity for big savings.  Clearance items will not only be marked as Clearance Items, they will be clearly marked with Price and Warranty. With the exception of items in our Clearance Category, which are very clearly marked as such, we do not sell refurbished or second-hand, B-Stock, or Grey-Market items.  B-Stock items are items that were defective, and have been repaired, or reconditioned usually by the manufacture and resold as such, for a lower price and usually with a shorter warranty period.  Grey-Market items are items that are manufactured for a market different than America.  Grey-Market items are not intended for use in the American Market, and often their warranties will not be honored here.  Many internet dealers sell B-Stock or Grey-Market items without making it clear to you, the purchaser, what you are getting.  Blueechoav.com will never sell such items.

Most of the items that we sell on blueechoav.com are in stock items and available for immediate shipment.  We regularly monitor our stock, and we will display an item as “Out of Stock” clearly on the item’s description if it is not available.  Occasionally an item will become unavailable before we have time to adjust the status to reflect it as unavailable.  In such rare cases, if you purchased an item and it is on backordered status, we will contact you immediately, either by phone or by email and notify you.  You will have the option of keeping the item at the same price for shipment as soon as it becomes available, or we can cancel the order immediately and give you a full refund.

We make every effort to ship items out as soon as you place your order.  Most items ship within 1 to 2 business days.  If there is a delay for any reason, we will contact you immediately by phone or by email to notify you of the delay.

Payment Methods Payment Methods:

Blue Echo Audio Video accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, and Google Checkout.  We do not accept personal check or money order.  If you are paying by credit card, your credit card address must match the shipping address.  If you are shipping to a different address, we suggest you contact your credit card company and ask them to add that address to your account.  When entering your credit card information, you will also be asked for the 3 or 4 digit security number.  This can be found on the back of your card, next to the signature panel.

Credit Card Payment:
For your safety and convenience, Blue Echo Audio Video uses Paypal to process all credit card payments.  Upon checkout you will be directed to Paypal’s Secured Website to enter your credit card information.  You ARE NOT REQUIRED to sign up for an account with Paypal to pay by credit card.  After entering and confirming your credit card information, you will be directed back to blueechoav.com.

Paypal Payment:
Paypal lets you send and receive payments with credit card, echeck, or direct transfer. If you have a Paypal account, or would like to get one, you can log in or register during the checkout process.  For more information about your Paypal Account, visit the Paypal page.

Google Checkout:
We provide you the option of using Google Checkout.  At the time of checkout, you will see a “checkout” button, and directly underneath you will find a “Google Checkout” button.  If you would like to checkout using Google Checkout, upon clicking the “Google Checkout” button, you will be directed to Google’s secured website.  You have to have a Google account, or set one up, to use the Google Checkout for payment.  For more information, see please visit the  Google Checkout page.

Blue Echo Audio Video’s checkout procedure is safe and secure.  We use SSL secured pages for all sensitive areas of our website, so your information is encrypted before being sent across the internet.  For more details, please see our privacy and security policies.

For those that are still concerned, Paypal and Google are great options, because you enter your credit card information with them, and not with the merchants you are purchasing from.  They do not share your credit card information with us, but rather issue us payment on your behalf.  This is a safe and convenient option for many.

Price Policy Price Policy:

Blueechoav.com is always working to update our prices and make sure our prices are competitive.  If you find a better price on an item before your purchase, we hope that you’ll contact us and give us the chance to match the deal.  At this time we cannot match prices after the sale.  Many internet dealers conduct their business in a non-ethical way, misrepresenting their products, selling items that they don’t have in stock and keeping your money for as long as possible, selling B-Stock or Grey-Market items without telling you, not responding to your e-mails or phone calls when you have a problem, with a total lack of customer service, and on and on.  With so many variables and uncertainties in the world of internet shopping, it’s impossible for us to verify a Company’s claims and prices.  For that reason, we do not offer a price protection policy after you have purchased from us.  We’re confident that our prices are competitive, and our service and information is the best available anywhere.  We hope that this combination of great price and great service will earn your business, and that once you purchase from us, you’ll be a customer for life.

Sales Tax Sales Tax:

Blue Echo Audio Video does not charge sales tax.  Since our Headquarters are located in Oregon State, we are not required by State or Federal law to collect or remit sales tax.  Each customer shall be solely responsible for any sales tax, or other tax required on orders shipped to your state.

Return Policy Return Policy:

If you have to return an item, please use the “contact us” form to request an RA # (Return Authorization Number).  Please note that returns without an RA # clearly marked on the OUTSIDE of the box will be refused.  When you fill out the “contact us” form, please select the “returns” option and enter your order ID, product model number and serial number in the comments field.  When you receive an RA # from us, it will have the shipping address on the RA #.  Do not send products to our main office, or without first obtaining an RA #.  In both cases, we will reject the shipment.  Please note also that shipping charges are non-refundable and non-reimbursable under any circumstances.  All returns must be 100% complete with the original Manufacturer’s box and packing materials, all parts, manuals and paperwork, and the UPC code must be intact.  For this reason, we ask you to be absolutely certain you will not return the item before you dispose of anything.

Blueechoav.com offers 14 days from the date of delivery to return eligible items.  Most items sold by blueechoav.com qualify for returns, but certain products do not qualify or require a re-stocking fee.  If you have any questions regarding our return and exchange policy, please contact us before making your purchase.

Items that cannot be returned for any reason:

  • TVs larger than 20” diagonal screen size, including Plasma and LCD TVs
  • Furniture, including TV Stands and AV Racks
  • Front/Overhead Projectors
  • Pre-Recorded CDs or DVDs
  • Audio Video Components over $1000
  • Home Theater Systems
  • Special Order items
  • Memory
  • Clearance Items
  • Any item that has been installed (such as TV/Projector/Speaker Mounts, In-wall surge protectors, etc)

The above mentioned items cannot be returned for any reason.  In certain cases, additional products will be non-refundable.  This will be clearly noted on the products detail page.  If a non-returnable item arrives defective, it must be serviced under the Manufacturer’s warranty.  Many large TVs qualify for on-site repair, but many items must be taken to a local service center for repair.  Please contact the Manufacturer or blueechoav.com in the event that one of these items requires service.

The following non-defective items will be charged a 15% re-stocking fee:

  • Headphones
  • GPS/Navigation Systems
  • Portable DVD Players
  • Ipod/Mp3 Players
  • Boomboxes
  • Batteries
  • Video Calibration items
  • Cleaning Solutions

Any item that is not returned 100% complete and in as-new condition will be charged a re-stocking fee of 15%-50%.  In addition, items that have had the UPC label removed or tampered with, will be rejected for return or charge a restocking fee of 50%.  Please make sure that you keep 100% of your materials until you are sure that you will keep your purchase, and that if you choose to return an item, it is complete and in as-new condition.

Other than the items listed above, defective items can be exchanged for up to 30 days from date of purchase. You must follow the procedures listed above in obtaining an RA #.  We reserve the right to replace the defective item with the same item, or issue a full refund (not including shipping charges).

Shipping Damages Shipping Damages:

Most of our small to mid items are shipped UPS, while larger items are usually shipped via carefully selected, experienced freight companies. Please make sure to carefully inspect each item BEFORE signing that you have accepted delivery.  In the rare event that an item arrives that has been damaged by shipping, please refuse the shipment if the damage is external and DO NOT SIGN for the shipment.  If the outside of the packaging does not appear damaged, and you notice internal damage, please contact us with 24 hours of signing for the package. Under no circumstances can we accept your damage claim after 24 hours from the date of signature of receipt.  Blueechoav.com will, at it’s sole discretion, ship a replacement unit or issue a full refund, when and if the claim has been settled with the shipping company.

Rebates Rebates:

Some of the products blueechoav.com sells offer mail-in rebates or manufacturer promotions.  These promotions are offered by the Manufacturer of these products, and Blue Echo Audio Video assumes no liability or guarantee of payment for third party rebates. 

If the rebate is not completed and submitted exactly as instructed on the rebate form, the Manufacturer or 3rd Party Administrator may not honor the rebate.  Please follow the instructions exactly.  The use of any rebates are limited to the Terms and Conditions of the rebate, as determined by the Manufacturer. Please read those terms and conditions completely before purchasing an item with a rebate promotion.  Please make sure that you fully understand the requirements and limitations prior to any purchase.
If your rebate is rejected for any reason, please attempt to contact the Manufacturer or 3rd Party Administrator listed on the rebate form.

Product Warranty Product Warranty:

All products sold by blueechoav.com will have the full Manufacturer’s Warranty. Upon receiving your item, please fill out the enclosed warranty card and send it to the Manufacturer.  Many Manufacturers now offer online registration for product warranties.  We recommend that you register your product.

Included in your products paperwork will be instructions on how to proceed with a warranty claim.  Please follow those instructions first, and if you cannot get your product repaired in a satisfactory manner, contact us immediately and we will assist you with your warranty claim.

You must have your original proof of purchase, and you must be the original purchaser.  Most Manufacturer’s Warranties do not transfer ownership if the item is given away or sold.

We also offer Extended Warranties which may extend your coverage as well as offer additional coverage the the Manufacturer may not cover with their warranty.  Although we do not pressure anyone into extending their warranty, often these Extended Warranties have great value and end up more than paying for themselves if there is a service issue with your item.
